Adjusting
Bit Depth

Adjusting the Bit Depth: Each countersink features a unique tapered-thread, split-collet design that allows for the perfect non-slip grip on the drill bit. To change the bit position, simply loosen the collet, slide it in or out and tighten it back down.
Tips:
• Most users find that a bit depth of 1/4" shallower than the screw length works best.
• For hardwoods, a slightly larger diameter bit is recommended than when working with softer woods.
